<DIV>An organizational meeting for a revived town preservation association is
scheduled for Thursday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Hall. Please
spread the word that the announcement in the Town Crier has the wrong date for
this meeting.</DIV>

<DIV>All Riverdale Park residents interested in preserving the historic charm of
our town should plan on attending this meeting. In the past, town
preservations have been involved in the following kinds of activities:
house tours, the town history center, exhibits, advising on
planning/redevelopment projects, documenting historic sites, historic districts,
community volunteer projects, heritage tourism promotion, participation in
county and state preservation initiatives.</DIV>
