<DIV>Sometimes people need to visit &</DIV>
<DIV>see successful community centers</DIV>
<DIV>- hear about them etc to know if</DIV>
<DIV>there is an interest. I think the teen</DIV>
<DIV>problems of nothing to do after school</DIV>
<DIV>and the senior social needs, place</DIV>
<DIV>where people can safely get together </DIV>
<DIV>to play cards/board games etc. But </DIV>
<DIV>I think we would have to find ways to </DIV>
<DIV>involved the local colleges maybe to</DIV>
<DIV>help run-involve - help - give ideas - </DIV>
<DIV>as students are earning their degrees.</DIV>
<DIV>This gives them experience, & helps</DIV>
<DIV>us too. Involved high schoolers of our</DIV>
<DIV>town to donate time & get experience</DIV>
<DIV>in filling community needs, middle</DIV>
<DIV>school could join in - the more adults,</DIV>
<DIV>kids join in to serve the needs of the</DIV>
<DIV>community - it becomes fun and </DIV>
<DIV>emotionally rewarding, teaching adult/</DIV>
<DIV>kids communicating skills, empathy,</DIV>
<DIV>----there has to be some way of bringing</DIV>
<DIV>adults, old & young, kids of all school </DIV>
<DIV>age together to form a better community</DIV>
<DIV>meeting the needs of our special town.</DIV>
<DIV>Feeling good about ourselves, building</DIV>
<DIV>self esteem. Join in with the scouts etc.</DIV>
<DIV>I think Greenbelt does well with their </DIV>
<DIV>programs. I go there all the time & </DIV>
<DIV>belong to their gym.
