<st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Park</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> will host a Historic
Home and Garden Tour on Sunday, June 3<sup>rd</sup>, 2005 from 1 to 5 pm. The
tour will feature homes over 100 years old as well as the spectacular gardens
in the town. <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Tours</st1:City></st1:place>
of the Riversdale House will also be incorporated. Tickets for the tour will
be $10.00 in advance; $12.00 on the tour day.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:
12.0pt'>On Thursday November 2<sup>nd</sup>, a group of <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName
w:st="on">Riverdale</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Park</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>
citizen met to plan a revival of the Riverdale Park House Tour. We decided
that we’d like to highlight historic homes that are 100 years or more old
and include some of the gorgeous gardens in the town. The tour will begin with
an orientation to the town’s history possibly including a slide
show– after which people can tour the selected homes and the Riversdale
House. Discussion of transportation included selecting homes within walking
distance, renting a shuttle bus, and/or finding enough antique cars to drive
people between homes. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

a house that is 100 years old or a nice garden and would be interested in participating

selection, advertising, book preparation, as docents in the houses, etc….
