<HTML><FONT FACE=arial,helvetica><HTML><FONT SIZE=2 PTSIZE=10 FAMILY="SANSSERIF" FACE="Arial" LANG="0">Hi Nancy, I'm not a train expert, but sometimes I see the train standing still and blowing its horn and it appears that it is entering the crossing and the horn is the signal for the arms to go down and when they don't go down with one blow, the engineer continues to blow and doesn't proceed until the arm responds. I learned this from my own observation. I could be wrong, but its the only thing that makes sense to me.<BR>
