color=#000000>"The State of Maryland has developed a program which allows
credits against the homeowner's property tax bill if the property taxes exceed a
fixed percentage of the person's gross income. In other words, it sets a limit
on the amount of property taxes any homeowner must pay based upon his or her
income." It's also available to renters. </FONT></SPAN></FONT></DIV>

It's supposed to be applied automatically, but it's worth checking to make sure
that you're getting it if you're supposed to. </SPAN></FONT></DIV>

saying how desperate her situation is and she gets an "oh, don't worry". I
apologize, Holly, I can't see how you cannot worry, going through what you are
going through. What you need to hear is "how can we help you?"
(Small children, husband ill, no job, sole supporter, higher taxes) What
say you town talkers? Maybe we can double the raise in the taxes and use
the excess to pay Holly's taxes so we can relieve some of her burden?
Seriously, Holly, I will think of something to do to help you. If
you have any ideas about what you want, call me. I will do my best to
