very briefly... we attended the Cafritz presentation at Riverdale Elementary this morning. we love the direction it's taking (no startling new developments at all... happy to provide more details later... they said they'd have their proposals up on their website "soon" (
<a href="http://www.cafritzpop.com/">http://www.cafritzpop.com/</a> ) ....)<br><br>one observation: based on the sample of people who turned out this morning and expressed their views, one would have to conclude that university park and college park (calvert hills) residents love their communities *just* the way they are, whereas we riverdalians long for the kinds of changes the Cafritz folks are talking about -- and appreciate the way they are going about it.
<br><br>if you like the general sense of their proposals and would like to see something like this happen, i would urge you to turn out for the meeting this Tuesday at 8, which is a repeat performance of this morning's meeting -- and make yourselves heard. right now, if things were decided by voice vote, we'd lose easily!!
