How was the trick-or-treating
for everyone this year? I mentioned to David Lingua that maybe THAT could
be our Riverdale Park specialty 'trick-or-treat village'. : ) We do
seem to get a lot of kids from neighboring areas.

Last year I had to have kids line up in two rows in front of my house, we were
that swamped. This year, not so much. I was curious how it was for
others. I even got in a costume, perched in a chair in my driveway, and
put the bowl of candy on my lap, but no one came! I ended up having to
wash my dishes!! It didn't get busy until after 7 pm.

However, we always get trick-or-treaters long after 8 even though our light is
off. We buy over 10# of candy and give it away before 8, always.
What gives with them coming so late? Even little ones.

Anyway, I think it is great fun.
