Sorry to have brought up and then dropped this topic, folks. Right
before the holidays, I found out that in order to qualify for the state
renewable energy incentives (and pretty sure the federal ones too) the
solar water heater would have to be inspected by a licensed plumber.
Then the holidays came around and I got sidetracked. <br>

This is a glitch in the DIY effort, but not necessarily fatal -- it
doesn't have to be <i>installed</i> by a plumber, just inspected and
signed off on. Do we have any licensed plumbers on the list, or do any
of you know one who might be interested in getting some experience (and
maybe training a helper or two) in solar water heaters?<br>
