Anne -- I have never been to the College Park dog park (because they keep it locked up and that seems like a bit of a hassle to me) but my dog and I are "regulars" at the Greenbelt dog park. I have found the majority of dogs to be very well-mannered. In fact, I take my 6 year-old with me and we have never had a problem with any of the dogs. They give my Wheaten Terrier a good run for her money, which is more than I can do along the hiking trail.

There are several labs that go regularly, so if you go, your dog will be sure to get worn out!

Karen

Greenbelt also has a dog park. Just go up Good Luck Rd. turn left on
Hanover Parkway (at the 7-11), go almost to the light and turn Left and its right
there. Near those apt. buildings and swim pool. Might even be closer than
College Park. I have been to both and they are very nice. If you go there
and there are people there, they will let you in to see how you like it before
you join the club. Audrey
I need to find a large dog-doggy park!
My chocolate lab is 80lbs of fun with an oral obsession and an exacerbating love of all people, dogs and mud.
He also has terrible manners and will not stop at anything to demonstrate his affections for all things, alive or not. Luckily, he is not perverse.
How does large vs tiny dog interaction gets handled at these parks?
Anyone have any insight on the whole experience?
