Well... as one who forgot about it on the day of this year and attended last year... a little search in my email shows that last year there were 2 announcements in advance on TownTalk -- and none this year.<br><br>I also see that TownAnnounce made no mention of the Memorial Day ceremony.<br>
<br>Not that it should be so hard for us to put two and two together -- MEMORIAL DAY = MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY @Natoli Place -- there's nothing like timely notices and reminders to not only get the word out, but keep it in the front of people's minds.<br>

Wanted to say 'thanks' to the Mayor and other folks who set up the Memorial Day observance here in town. Would've been nice if there'd been a few more people on hand; the ceremony isn't very long and people could spend a few minutes together remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice for this country. After all, to paraphrase Charles Schultz, "That's what Memorial Day is all about, Charlie Brown."<br>
