<body class='hmmessage'>On Saturday, September 27, 2008 from 8:45 am - 12:00 pm, Greenbelt National Park will be celebrating the 15th Annual National Public Lands Day. Volunteers are needed to help clean up the Still Creek watershed, through trail maintenance and invasive plant removal. <BR>

All of the activities will be at the Sweetgum Picnic Area. All trail and watershed participants will meet at the Sweetgum Picnic Area by 8:45 a.m. The trail work and watershed cleanup will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end by 12 Noon. The invasive plant removal will begin at 10:00 a.m In addition, NPLD will feature a children's nature walk along the Azalea trail to be held at 10:30 a.m Greenbelt Park's entrance is located between Kenilworth Avenue and the Baltimore Washington Parkway at 6565 Greenbelt Road.
