Melissa--<div><br class="webkit-block-placeholder"></div><div>I would recommend that you speak with Colleen directly. She is the director of the town's code enforcement department. She is familiar with both the town and county's regulations for driveways. The key in a R-55 area (residential single-family neighborhood) is lot coverage. The county requires that no more than 30% of a lot can be covered with impervious surfaces. If over, then a variance is required. If the driveway was done without permit, the case can be taken to the County's Board of Appeals and a request can be made to have the driveway removed or changed. But, please speak with Colleen directly. She can fill you in on the details. Just call her at the town's offices. </div><div><br class="webkit-block-placeholder"></div><div>Best,</div><div>Dannielle</div><div><br><div> <span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: separate; border-spacing: 0px 0px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Verdana; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: normal; text-align: auto; -khtml-text-decorations-in-effect: none; text-indent: 0px; -apple-text-size-adjust: auto; text-transform: none; orphans: 2; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; "><div>Dannielle Glaros</div><div><a href="mailto:dmglaros@gmail.com">dmglaros@gmail.com</a></div><div><br class="khtml-block-placeholder"></div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"></span> </div><br><div><div>On Apr 26, 2009, at 9:28 AM, Melissa Avery wrote:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><blockquote type="cite"><div style="font-family:times new roman, new york, times, serif;font-size:14pt"><div>Sarah,</div> <div>they did put the extra large driveway in yesterday, despite the fact that the Riverdale police stopped them last Saturday.
