Actually the College Park city limits go further south to the south side of the roadway entering the Metro property, just north of the roadway into the regional postal facility. This past spring College Park purchased and installed new city gateway signs at all entrances to the City of College Park. We, at that time double checked the boundary lines with the actual sign locations. We learned that the old Riverdale sign was over 50 yards inside of College Park territory. Therefore, I contacted Riverdale Park about them removing
their sign, which was done. Our new gateway sign is 100% new, concrete footing, metal post and sign. The old Riverdale Park sign is in Riverdale somewhere. We would not remove another town’s sign without first talking to them. We are neighbors and cooperate with our neighbors.
>
>
> Bob Stumpff
>
>
> Robert T.
