She was hoping they'd tell Bates to haul the waste away. The next day,an orange sticker appeared on the door at 6103 44th Ave. ---- simply warning the "property owner" of a code violation and potential fine. she also noted that none of the property was tagged.</span></div>
<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; "><div><br></div><div>i just went to read the current sticker -it is dated 8/18 and it is from code enforcement. it cites chapter 36 and says that the items must be removed from the curb until pick-up is scheduled and that the pick-up will cost $200 plus extra costs (am paraphrasing the notice from memory so may not be 100% accurate.)</div>

There are some dumb (but necessary to protect individual rights) time delays involved.<br>
<br>
After the "trash" appears there is a delay to give the person time to clean it up.<br>
After it is tagged there is a delay to give the property owner time to get it cleaned up before the town charges them $75/hr (?) to do it.<br>
<br>
In cases like yours there is (hopefully) some effort to work with your neighbor and the bank before the town picks-up the personal property and takes it to the dump.<br>
