<DIV>Del's suggestion for Field of Dreams is</DIV>
<DIV>Trash Cans that say "Thank you for recycling"</DIV>
<DIV>and have 1 can for recyclables & 1 can for</DIV>
<DIV>garbage. Sit a set by the woods where they</DIV>
<DIV>watch the games, maybe a set on the edge</DIV>
<DIV>of the parking lot where they eat out their </DIV>
<DIV>cars & a set at the other end of the field.</DIV>

<DIV>I picked up trash one day when the adults</DIV>
<DIV>had arrived to practice - they asked what i</DIV>
<DIV>was doing & I said picking up everybody's </DIV>
<DIV>trash. I said it would be nice for you all to </DIV>
<DIV>pick up all your trash each time. The </DIV>
<DIV>neighbors around here do not like looking at</DIV>
<DIV>all the trash. It is a privilege to play here for</DIV>
<DIV>free.</DIV>

<DIV>They said oh we will pick up the trash. And</DIV>
<DIV>that group seems to be following through now.</DIV>
<DIV>But I do not have time to wait for each group.</DIV>

<DIV>Maybe the Art Council & the town could have</DIV>
<DIV>a contest where kids/adults present pictures of</DIV>
<DIV>their artwork for a trash can. The Art Council &</DIV>
<DIV>Town could judge together & the winners would</DIV>
<DIV>be given a can to do their "thing" on. Maybe besides</DIV>
<DIV>a trash can - maybe use some of the artists for</DIV>
<DIV>signs around town. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Wm Wirt & Riverdale Elementary could be in the</DIV>
<DIV>contest so the kids would "get" the message also.</DIV>
