How does a bank if bank-owned or absentee landlord find out about the citations? I realize owners should know about the rules regarding lawn care but especially for bank-owned properties they might not be visiting properties to see if they have any warning stickers. <br><br><br>Apr 28, 2010 01:53:47 PM, drmsparks@yahoo.com wrote:<br><blockquote style="border-left: 3px solid rgb(102, 153, 204);"><div style="font-family: times, serif; font-size: 10pt;"><div></div><div>The biggest problems with the lawns is the time lag between citation and cutting, not the length of the lawn when the citing begins.</div><div><br></div><div>I am curious how the system works. on the town cutting schedule and continue to receive fines (and be charged for the service) until they can prove the means are in place to maintain the place on a regular basis (contract etc). If needed, a lien should be placed on the property to insure the fines are paid. A good chunk of these vacant properties are bank owned and they need to understand their responsibilities. As long as it's cheaper for them to ignore the situation they will.</div><div><br></div><div>Dave</div><div> </div>Say what you will about Sisyphus.
