ymailto="mailto:TownTalk@riverdale-park.org">TownTalk@riverdale-park.org</A>><BR><BR><BR>Friends and Neighbors,<BR><BR>The first Finance Committee Meeting to discuss the fiscal year 2011<BR>budget will be this Wednesday, May 12, starting at 7:30 PM, at Town<BR>Hall (5008 Queensbury Road).<BR><BR>Because the budget is a long and complicated document, I hope to limit<BR>discussion at this meeting to General Government (Town Hall)<BR>expenditures. I may take a little time at the beginning of the<BR>meeting, perhaps with input from the Mayor, to give an overview of the<BR>budget, and some budgetary realities facing us this year. If we have<BR>energy and time at the end of the evening, we might also discuss some<BR>of the "Miscellaneous" expenditures.<BR><BR>Tentatively the meetings scheduled for the 17th and 19th of May (both<BR>starting at 7:30 pm) will be, respectively, the Police Department and<BR>Public Works budgets. If we are
moving fast enough in either of those<BR>meetings, we will discuss revenues.
