For the past two days there have been several park police out. It looks as though they are arresting suspects and questing people.
<DIV>Monday they seemed to be looking for people in the bushes by the river, had one man handcuffed sitting on the ground, and yesterday several cars surrounding a group of men parked in cars, and questioning one outside of a car.</DIV>

Takoma Park Police placed a look-out for the suspect
vehicle<BR>> used in the armed robbery. Silver Spring District plainclothes officers<BR>> observed the suspect vehicle and then the suspects commit a second robbery<BR>> in front of them. The Silver Spring District plainclothes officers<BR>> apprehended one of the suspects and the suspect vehicle. The other suspect<BR>> fled on foot and a foot chase ensued by Takoma Park Police and Montgomery<BR>> County Police. A Maryland State Police helicopter is also involved in the<BR>> pursuit. The second suspect is described as a black male with dread locks,<BR>> last seen wearing sweat pants and a gray shirt.
