<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0"><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;"><p>I will try and be there but I don't know where else to go with Dumm's. I'm sure I'm not the only one that shops elsewhere due to a lack of fresh items or a staff that cares. I buy my groceries at Mom in College Park and my wine and beer at Franklins. That's money I should be spending here but going into a store with less desirable items than 7 Eleven where the the cashier sits behind bullet proof glass is not an enjoyable experience. </p>
<p>On a positive note, I strongly recommend the following businesses:<br>
Total Auto on Quesada Rd, Shagga Coffee on route 1 for delicious Ethiopian food, and the wine/beer/ general store at Franklins (the staff actually knows about wine and beer and makes good recommendations). These are businesses that value their customers and are appreciative. The opposite is Dumm's where I am being watched from behind bullet proof glass while I look through their meager offerings. </p>

<p>I think the owners live in Potomac. Would they like a store like Dumm&#39;s in their neighborhood? I think not. I guess beer posters, dusty overpriced wonder bread, and bullet proof glass is what they assume Riverdale Park is used to. </p>
<p>We deserve better. I wrote to every quality grocery store in the DC area and we are finally getting Yes! close by. I&#39;ve also talked to the people at Dumm&#39;s but I don&#39;t think they care. </p>
<p>I continue to spend at their sandwich shop which has great pizza and burgers but the convenient store is just sad and ugly.</p>

<div>Does anyone else think its time for Dumm&#39;s to change their storefront? They actually do have some things that I need but the beer ads in the windows are a turnoff and bring the neighborhood down. Can we, as a town, ask that they remove the garish posters for Coors and Heineken and maybe reflect the neighborhood store it is which sells sugar, wine, bread, etc. </div>
