Thursday morning I found that my car had been vandalized sitting in my driveway which is right next to my front porch. Luckily I didn't have anything of any real value in my glove compartment or console, but the contents they didn't want were thrown all over the floor and seats. Once again a rude reminder that I must make SURE my car is locked in my front yard. FCOL. Police report will virtually do nothing, because what's done, is done. Merry Christmas<br>

This morning a dark colored four-door sedan with no front tags and a<br>
light-colored back license tag pulled up next to the back lot of a<br>
house in Ward 2. There were two tall slim men in the car.<br>

First one guy got out and jumped the chain link fence, and then he<br>
came back to the car and another guy got out and they both lept the<br>
fence. They used a crowbar to break the lock of the tool shed and<br>
stole some valuable tools.<br>
<br>
The person who saw this called the police as soon as she realized what<br>
was happening, but it happened all so fast that by the time the police<br>
came the thieves were gone.<br>
<br>
My friend who called the police is beating herself up because she<br>
feels like she didn't get suspicious soon enough. She was stunned at<br>
how fearless the burglars were.<br>
<br>
She asked me to post to the list, and to remind everyone to please<br>
call the police as soon as you see anything suspicious. The police can<br>
determine how to respond when they get your call, but if they don't<br>
get a call, they can't do anything.<br>
<br>
Also, remember that it's okay to call in a false alarm. Better to let<br>
the police check out anything suspicious than to let a burglar get<br>
away with stealing.<br>
