Anytime after three oclock in the afternoon rush when the uncontious commuters on Rt,1 following the line of cars in front of them, fill the intersection and block it and create gridlock.Sometimes it takes two three and four cycles of the light to get someone who won't block the intersection.</SPAN></div>

<DIV id=yiv232292336>I just walked up to Rite Aid and back, at <SPAN class=yiv232292336il>1</SPAN>:00 and <SPAN class=yiv232292336il>1</SPAN>:10 respectively this (Saturday) afternoon.<BR><BR>This is the line on <SPAN class=yiv232292336il>Queensbury</SPAN> waiting for the intersection at <SPAN class=yiv232292336il>Route</SPAN> <SPAN class=yiv232292336il>1</SPAN>. Because of the cars going east you don't get the full impact of seeing them backed up past the tracks, but they were.
