<DIV><SPAN>When the <SPAN id=yiv549498328misspell-9>Wegman's</SPAN> opened last year, I was afraid that it would hurt the farmer's market in <SPAN id=yiv549498328misspell-10>Cheverly</SPAN> but I haven't noticed a drop-off in sales there. I agree with Sarah, the people who prefer to shop at farmers markets are not necessarily the ones who are going to flock to Whole Foods. If it's true that Whole Foods has a symbiotic relationship with the Fresh Farms Market group, can't we have a say in what new farmers markets are allowed to start up in our town? There are already a lot of farmers markets in the area, it would be kind of silly to bring in yet another one. As for substituting a Fresh Farms Market for our own independent market, why would they risk the good will of the community in trying to push through something like that? <polishing my pitchfork><BR></SPAN></DIV>
