I believe it is usually the owner. That said, the terms of the lease<br>may obligate the tenant to do the repairs.<br><br>The first step, however, is for the town's code office to work with<br>the tenant/owner to determine who is responsible. The next step is to<br>insure that the fixes happen in a timely fashion.<br><br>Anyone in Ward 1 who wants to contact their councilperson (Jonathan<br>Ebbeler <a ymailto="mailto:jebbeler@riverdaleparkmd.gov" href="mailto:jebbeler@riverdaleparkmd.gov">jebbeler@riverdaleparkmd.gov</a>) or mayor (Vernon Archer<br><a ymailto="mailto:varcher@riverdaleparkmd.gov" href="mailto:varcher@riverdaleparkmd.gov">varcher@riverdaleparkmd.gov</a>) directly could probably get an accurate<br>answer - here, we are only speculating.<br><br>-Sarah<br><br>p.s.
