Heritage Area Inc., home of Maryland Milestones, encourages Washington D.C. </font><font face="Consolas">Metro residents and visitors to capture the beauty,
history, activities, and character of Northern Prince George’s County for the
2012 Maryland Milestones Photo Contest.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">
</span>Based on the highly successful photo and calendar contest from the Erie
Canalway National Heritage Corridor, this contest will be a chance for
photographers of all sorts to explore their backyards!</font></div><div>
</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;" class="MsoPlainText"><font face="Consolas">Winning entries will be featured in the 2013 Maryland
Milestones Calendar, which will be released in December/January as well as a

“Expression of Arts” (Culture); “Nature of the Area” </font><font face="Consolas">(Nature); “For the Fun of It” (Recreation). Photographers
can submit up to three images and award levels are first, second or third place
in the four categories or an Honorable Mention.</font></div><div><o:p><font face="Consolas"> </font></o:p></div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;" class="MsoPlainText"><font face="Consolas">Photos must be taken within the boundaries of the
Anacostia Trails Heritage Area. A map of the Anacostia Trails Heritage Area and

contest’s deadline and the list of winners will be posted on the organization
