Audrey,<div><br></div><div>I asked our Public Works Director to look into this, and he let me know yesterday that the contractor re-trained their employees that cover Riverdale Park in advance of today's trash collection. Management at the contractor will check our streets after today's collection to make sure there were no problems.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Thank you for letting us know about the problem (and thanks also to another resident who contacted Director Addison directly about a related problem with trash collection)!</div><div><br></div><div>Alan<br>

<div>Hi Vernon, Alan and Jonathan,</div>
<div>I am having a problem with the trash/recyle people. They spill the
trash on the street, break bottles, and leave it there. I have cleaned up
broken glass from the street numerous times, since I don't want to have to buy
new tires every week. I have been working with the people on my block to
keep it trash free and they are cooperating, but the public trash people need to
make sure they clean up what they drop. Will you please send a memo to
them and ask them to clean up when they drop trash and especially bottles on the
pavement?</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Also, what about a contest for "best kept block" in town? Maybe we
can keep our town clean and good looking and get everyone involved.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Thanks for anything you can do.</div>
