<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:rgb(26,26,26);font-size:large">Saturday, October 6, noon to 5 pm! That’s when hundreds of
area residents will converge on Riverside Park for a free day of pony rides,
games, exhibits, music, fun and great food provided by area vendors. The
Maryland-National Park and Planning Commission’s mobile skate park will be in
place along with face painters, Angry Birds and a pair of plasma screens for
free video games!</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-autospace:none"><span style="color:#1a1a1a"><font class="Apple-style-span" size="4"> </font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-autospace:none"><font class="Apple-style-span" size="4"><span style="color:#1a1a1a">The day’s theme is Riverdale Park’s pride: “Safe, Clean,
and Beautiful” and there will be hours of free, local music beginning at 1pm
with Flamenco music and dancer <b style><i style>Ricardo Marlow</i></b>. Then enjoy the
sweet, acoustic sounds of <b style><i style>Jeanine Wilson</i></b> whose band’s latest
tune, </span><span style="color:#262626">“Kiss
You at Hello” is now available for download from their Wammie-winning “Album of
the Year, <i>Wakin’ Up</i>! Also on the bill is the</span><span style="color:#1a1a1a"> <b style><i style>Sheryl Sears Blues Band</i></b>,
who made their Riverdale Park debut at the Riverdale Park <i style>ArtsfFest2012 </i>last May to rave reviews. Closing out the day’s
musical acts will be the bluesy sounds of the <b style><i style>Dr. S.O. Feel Good Band and Show</i></b>,
a popular DC-based group that plays about 150 dates annually in the east and
the Midwest. </span></font></p>

proud heritage and gives residents a great opportunity to meet local elected
officials, along with members of the Riverdale Fire Department and the
Riverdale Police Department. Members of various local service organizations
including the Riverdale Lions Club and the Riverdale Park Arts Council will
also be on hand to familiarize residents with the opportunities they offer.</font></span></p>

parking lot:</i> cross Riverdale Road toward Taylor Road. Take the first left
onto Taylor Road, then left on to Riverside Drive. You’re there! It’s free and
you’ll have fun. </span></font></p>
