for anyone involved in food gardening, or who wants to get involved! Christie Balch from UM Extension will share with us her insights and experience with successful community gardening. Christie came to Maryland from Troy Gardens, a community farm in Madison, Wisconsin, and she now heads UMD's Sheridan Street Garden at the Center for Educational Partnership in Riverdale. With her interns, she is generating amazing changes to the climate for urban agriculture in Prince George's County (chickens, anyone?). She is a dynamic speaker, so don't miss this one! (Maybe we can also ask her to talk a bit about her recent travel to Afghanistan where she trained extension educators.)</div><div class="yiv1067563119MsoPlainText" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; padding: 0px; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: rgb(69, 69, 69);"> </div><div class="yiv1067563119MsoPlainText" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; padding: 0px; font-size: 11pt;
