Thank you for reporting that the Town of Riverdale Park is
financially sound and only has 3 million dollars in outstanding
debts.<br>
<br>
The interest rate of the 3 million in debt is 4.64% - 5.42% . That
only amounts to about $150,000 in interest payments per year.<br>
<br>
Times are changing and the Town needs to be fiscally responsible.
The days of borrowing money to pay for unnecessary projects should
cease. Just look at the Federal Government, 16 Trillion in debt and
the politicians want to spend more money. <br>
<br>
I challenge the Mayor and Council to be fiscally responsible.
Commit to the following principles<br>

1. <big>Say NO to unnecessary spending.</big><br>
<br>
2. <big>Say NO to any property tax increase.<br>
<br>
</big>3. <big>Say NO to any new taxes or fees</big>.<br>
<br>
4. <big> Pay down the current debt</big>.<br>
<br>
5. <big>Govern within your means.</big> <big>Smaller
Government is Better.</big><br>
