I applaud your statement. Why the Town of Riverdale Park is so
adamant in obtaining this property is beyond my belief. The Town
promotes Small Business Assistance Programs Available to Riverdale
Park Businesses on it's web site: <u><font color="#3333ff"><a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.riverdaleparkmd.info/services/sbassistance.cfm">http://www.riverdaleparkmd.info/services/sbassistance.cfm</a>

Everything the Town of Riverdale Park has done lately has been
against the small business owners of the town. Just look at the
Town Center project. The Town would rather build a enormous two
story expansion to the Town Hall instead of renting office space in
the Town Center and supporting the small business owner. There is
no parking at the current Town Hall and to expand it by 7,000 sq
would cause a safety issue for first responders to the Town Hall and
the Elementary School. Just look at the Elementary School parking
lot, it's overfilled every school day with twice the number of cars
designed for the parking lot. Teachers are double parking, blocking
cars in legal parking spaces. Parents do not have anywhere to park
so they could visit their child's school. The Town has restricted
the parking on Queensbury Road to prohibit the Teachers and Parents
from parking there.<br>
