<body class='hmmessage'><div dir='ltr'>There was a group of us who worked on establishing the two National Register historic districts in the town and conducted historic house tours back in the 90s - I think we called ourselves the Preservation Association of Riverdale Park. We did a good deal of research on the houses on the tours, which is (I hope) still preserved in the town history center.<br><br>Researching the history of your house can be a lot of fun, if you are willing to invest some time to go to the State Archives in Annapolis to look at the tax assessment books and learn to use the MDLandRec website.
