<div dir="ltr">Does anyone know whether the trail will end on the Franklins block or whether it will connect with the Northwest Branch Trail at Armentrout Drive?  I keep hearing conflicting reports as to whether the County's project will take the trail to its logical conclusion with a connection to the Anacostia Trails network.  -- Chris<br>

<span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">></span><br style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px"><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">> Several years ago, Councilman Olson and Councilman Campos allocated funds in the Parks and Recreation budget for this project.  It has been a long time in coming, but this important bike and walking path will provide a much needed connection between Hyattsville, Riverdale Park and eventually College Park as well as destinations north and south.  The first section to be constructed will directly connect the EYA Arts District to Franklin's Restaurant and destinations south as well as to Riverdale Park and its historic town center.  After this section is complete, work will begin on the trail north of Queensbury Rd. in Riverdale Park.  The third section, between Riverdale Park and College Park, will be completed during the construction of the Cafritz project.</span><br style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">
