My #1 item was for USPS to at least recognize the name of the town, "Riverdale Park", which they had not done. In fact, I only just now learned that they have finally added "Riverdale Park" to their system (and this has been several years since that meeting). Previously, anything with "Riverdale Park" in it would be rejected as an unrecognized address, and this of course affected many other commercial systems (like UPS) that keyed to the USPS zip code/town name system. Anyway, so that is progress!! However, it seemed clear to me in that meeting that item #2, getting a discreet zip code for the incorporated town of Riverdale Park, was not going to happen. I have no idea if Jonathan's suggestion of applying the local P.O. box zip code of 20738 to the town fits within their policies (they may have a standard that all P O boxes have their own zip code??? I have no idea.). Seems like a nice, easy fix to the problem. But I will predict that this will take considerable political muscle to make it happen - if it can happen at all. Not sayin' it can't be done - just sayin' :)<div>

Riverdale which drives down the value of real estate in the incorporated Riverdale Park.
