<br>Maryland Agricultural College, now the University of Maryland College Park. This November,<br><br>the University Music Fellowship Program and Riversdale House Museum are partnering to<br><br>present a fall concert series.<br>
<br>Visitors are invited to enjoy the sounds of District 5, the University’s Graduate Fellowship<br><br>Wind Quintet, on Sunday, November 3 and the US Army Field Band Clarinet Quartet on<br><br>Sunday, November 24. The concerts are FREE and run from 2:30-3:30 pm.<br>
<br>Make it an afternoon at Riversdale with a tour of the historic home prior to the performances.<br><br>Admission is $3 adults/$2 seniors/$1 students/FREE children 4 & under and tours begin at the<br><br>Visitor Center at 12:15, 12:45, and 1:15 pm.<br>
<br>District 5 is one of the two Graduate Fellowship Chamber Ensembles at the UMD School of<br><br>Music. Funded by the Smith Plan for Excellence, the Graduate Fellowship Chamber Ensembles<br><br>benefit from intensive chamber music study with University of Maryland School of Music<br>
<br>faculty and other renowned artists, featured performances at the Clarice Smith Center,<br><br>professional development support, tuition remission and a generous stipend.<br><br>The US Army Field Band Clarinet Quartet was formed in 1989 as an official ensemble of the<br>
<br>Musical Ambassadors of the Army and has been featured at a variety of professional<br><br>conferences throughout the country. This ensemble is an active participant in the Army Field<br><br>Band’s educational outreach programs, performing and presenting master classes for students<br>
<br>ranging from pre-school to postgraduate.<br><br>Riversdale, a National Historic Landmark, is located at 4811 Riverdale Road in the town of<br><br>Riverdale Park, Maryland 20737. This facility is owned and operated by the Maryland-National<br>
