<div style="RIGHT: auto"><SPAN style="RIGHT: auto">A "PS" on wildlife; this is the mating season for deer, and they're out and about in fairly large numbers. If you see them in one area, chances are<VAR id=yui-ie-cursor></VAR> they'll be around that same area quite a bit. Keep an eye out when you're driving, esp. around dawn and dusk. </SPAN></div>

<DIV>Yesterday afternoon I saw an adult Bald Eagle feeding in the NE branch about 1/4 mile downstream from the Riverdale Rd bridge. The eagle had landed in a shallow section of the creek. As I approached, it took off making a hasty retreat. The eagle was "chirping" (stuccato of high pitched chirps)as it exited the area. Bald eagles often do this if you are near their nests. They are giving notice that they don't want you around.</DIV>
