Saturday will be the Battle of Bladensburg program, while on Sunday we will set
about to burn Washington D.C. again with a variety of activities happening in Bladensburg and DC. Undaunted Weekend/Battle of Bladensburg on August 23, 2014 at Bladensburg
Waterfront Park. Approximately half of the slots are scheduled for Gateway Arts
District vendors, while the remaining can come from Prince George’s County and
surrounding areas. Artists and crafters need NOT be 1812 related or in costume,
but participants which include traditional crafts, historic trades, general
American patriotism, and/or the heritage, history and culture of the region and
Maryland are strongly encouraged and will receive precedence over others. This program
will include re-enactments, live cannon demonstrations, children’s games, food
