<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">The Little Black Kitty found himself on Ravenswood one
day.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">He was homeless. </font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">He was hungry.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3">
</font></span><font size="3">He was lonesome.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">A lady came out
of one of the houses and saw him.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">She
went inside and came back out with food for him.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">He wouldn’t</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3">
</font></span><font size="3">come near her.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">He was so
scared.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">She put the food under the
boxwood bush in her front yard and left.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3">
</font></span><font size="3">As soon as she left, he gobbled up all the food.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">He was happy.<o:p></o:p></font></font></div>

bush.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">The Little Black Kitty waited
until she went away then ate it.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">After
several days, he wasn’t</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">so scared
anymore.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">He came closer and closer to
the lady.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">Soon he would wait for her
at</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">the front door. </font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">When she would go on vacation, she would ask
me to put food out for Little Black Kitty. </font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">A few years went by and the Little Black Kitty
stayed on Ravenswood.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">He did travel a
bit, so you might have seen him on Taylor, Sheridan…<o:p></o:p></font></font></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">The Lady decided to move one day.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">She was moving to Florida.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">She wouldn’t be taking Little Black Kitty
with her.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">She hoped someone would feed
him.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">I put food under the boxwood bush
for him the following days.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">One day I talked
to another neighbor and she was also putting food out for Little Black
Kitty.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">She said she would like to get
him to come to her porch and eat.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">So, I
stopped feeding him and</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">Chrissy took
over the project.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">She did get Little
Black Kitty to come to her porch and eat.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3">
</font></span><font size="3">She made a little bed for him on the porch.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">She</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3">
</font></span><font size="3">finally convinced LBK that she was a friend and he let her pet him.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">Soon he was sitting in her lap purring!</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">He was falling in love.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">Chrissy had 2 cats and a dog in her home and
since she knew nothing about</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">LBK’s
health she didn’t want to take a chance bringing him inside.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">As she would take her little dog, Fernando,
for a walk, LBK would join them and finish out the entire walk.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">As LBK came to trust Chrissy, she decided it
was time to get him in for a health exam.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3">
</font></span><font size="3">She called Alley Cats and they helped her get him shots and get him
neutered.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">Chrissy was thinking then she
could bring him inside and he could live a comfortable life.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">That didn’t work</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">out.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3">
</font></span><font size="3">Her resident cats and LBK just didn’t hit it off.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">So, LBK lived on the porch and Chrissy</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">spent time with him out there.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">He sat in her lap and cuddled and purred.<o:p></o:p></font></font></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><font face="Calibri"><font size="3">Last Friday LBK went on the walk as usual.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">He seemed fine.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">On Saturday morning he wasn’t </font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">there for breakfast.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">Chrissy was a little worried because he
always showed up.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">She went in the back
yard to do some yard work, looked up and there was LBK as sick as could be.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">He was weak, trembling, and throwing up.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">Chrissy immediately took him to the vet.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">They put him on an IV and oxygen.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">They told her to come back at 2 since they
closed at 3 and she would have to decide what to do or take him to an emergency
clinic.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">At 2 she went back to the vet
and they said he had FIV and an enlarged heart.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3">
</font></span><font size="3">They gave her medicine and she took him home.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">She made a space for him in one of her
bedrooms where she could take care of him.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3">
</font></span><font size="3">He was dead by 4 o’clock.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">Chrissy
gently picked him up and put him in a</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3">
</font></span><font size="3">box and drove him to her parent’s farm in Pennsylvania to be buried.<o:p></o:p></font></font></div>

heros of</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">Riverdale Park.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">She gave Little Black Kitty food, shelter and
best of all Love.</font><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><font size="3"> </font></span><font size="3">His last year with her
and his last days with her were filled with all the love and care he had never
known.<o:p></o:p></font></font></div>
