Because you’ve taken action with us to protect monarch butterflies and bees, we thought you might be interested to know that an important public hearing about pollinators will soon be held in your area.

The Obama Administration is inviting public input on a new federal strategy that could<strong> help reverse the alarming decline of monarchs and bees and protect these critically important pollinators</strong> for generations to come. <br>
<br>
<strong>Monarchs and bees have suffered from skyrocketing use of toxic chemicals</strong> that have caused their populations to plunge in recent years. I invite you to join us at this hearing, where we’ll call on the government to take immediate action to rein in the use of these toxic pesticides and save monarchs and bees -- before they’re gone forever.

The EPA and USDA will hold the hearing at <strong>4700 River Road in Riverdale, Maryland, from 1 — 3 p.m. on Monday, November 17.</strong><br>

I hope you may be able to attend and show your support in our urgent fight to save monarchs and bees. You’ll have the chance to speak if you wish to, but that is completely optional.
