anyone know the point of contact within the county or
MNCPPC for storm channel maintenance? It is my
understanding that Riverdale does not maintain either the
under street or daylit culverts that flow through town.
The section in my neighborhood (East of Rte. 1, North of
East West Highway) it taking on a significant amount of
sediment from the Cafritz site (presumably from the work
being done to connect into the creek), and there are also
several pile ups of debris. I'm concerned that
maintenance be scheduled BEFORE another flood event. Does
anyone from Riverdale keep tabs on the culverts or is it
up to citizens to call? Thanks for any insights.</blockquote>
