<span>NextGen</span> is a week-long leadership and civic engagement program for high school students in 9<sup><span>th</span></sup>, 10<sup><span>th</span></sup>,
and 11<sup><span>th</span></sup> grades. <span>
CHCI</span> will bring 40 Latino high school students to D.C. to learn about how the federal government works, meet key leaders, visit historic sites and develop a deeper understanding of how they can affect positive change in their communities and their nation.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="font-size:12.8000001907349px"><span style="font-size:10pt">The program, which will take place <b>July 26 –31, 2015</b>, is <b><u>completely FREE of charge</u></b><u> </u>to all selected student participants.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="font-size:12.8000001907349px"><span style="font-size:10pt"> </span></p>
<p style="font-size:12.8000001907349px"><span style="font-size:10pt;color:windowtext">Student must </span><span style="font-size:10pt;color:black">reside in the</span><b><span style="font-size:10pt;color:rgb(31,73,125)"> </span></b><b><span style="font-size:10pt;color:rgb(0,112,192)">District
of Columbia; Montgomery or Prince George’s Counties in Maryland; or Alexandria City or Arlington Counties in Virginia. </span></b><span style="font-size:10pt">in order to be eligible to apply (detailed eligibility requirements <a href="http://www.chci.org/ready_to_lead/page/r2lnextgen-washington-dc-applicants" target="_blank">can
be found here</a>). <span>CHCI</span> has identified only a small number of geographic regions where we are recruiting students; as such, we have reserved spaces </span><span style="font-size:10pt;color:windowtext">for students
