<div><font style="background-color: transparent;">I just got word that Bob Smith, owner of Ernie's Lock passed away last night.  He had been sick for some time, but still came to work up until this month.  I last spoke to him on his birthday March 27th. He was 71 years old.  He said he wanted a parade from the lock company to Gash's.  He was still joking around.  He was such a nice guy and an asset to the community.  He was the first "acting" president of the Riverdale Business Association.</font></div>

<div>He had many productive years in our town.  Details will be forthcoming on his service.</div>
