<div dir="ltr"><div>I live in Brentwood and we have the same issue with code enforcement and the first snow. EVERY year a notice appears within 8 hours saying I didn't attempt to clean the snow after 24 hours, this is your only warning, and the next one will be a fine. I always snow blow repeatedly with first few hours of snow fall. AND my entire street receives the same warnings. </div><div><br></div><div>These notices should be worded a little more eloquently. A warning is a warning, a fine is a fine, a friendly reminder to clean your snow should be worded as a friendly reminder to clean your snow. simple and to the point.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Thu, Jan 21, 2016 at 11:58 AM, bob smith <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:sfmc68@verizon.net" target="_blank">sfmc68@verizon.net</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><br>
Mr Mayor,<br>
Thank you for the response. Since there was NO indication that this<br>
thing on my door was a reminder, it is easy to assume an over zealous<br>
code enforcement effort. This does raise a specificity wording issue<br>
about the the code.<br>
<br>
When does the the 24 hours start? Does it start at the first flake<br>
covering a spot on the side walk, at some moment during a large storm<br>
such as predicted, or at the end of the accumulation?<br>
<br>
I believe clarification should included in the statute.<br>
<br>
Respectfully,<br>
