</o:shapelayout></xml><![endif]--></head><body lang=EN-US link=blue vlink=purple><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal>At the request of the U.S. Secret Service, the <b>Mt Vernon Square Metrorail Station will be temporarily closed for two days during the 2016 Nuclear Summit, beginning Wednesday evening, March 30, and continuing through Friday evening, April 1.</b><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The closure is necessary because Mt Vernon Square Station falls within the secure perimeter for the summit, a designated National Special Security Event that is expected to bring together heads of state from dozens of countries.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><b>Green and Yellow line trains will continue to operate through Mt Vernon Square without stopping</b>, and all other Metrorail stations are expected to be open during the event. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Customers should take note of the following service information:<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoListParagraph style='text-indent:-.25in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1'><![if !supportLists]><span style='font-family:Symbol'><span style='mso-list:Ignore'>·<span style='font:7.0pt "Times New Roman"'> </span></span></span><![endif]><b>Mt Vernon Square Station will be closed starting at approximately 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, and continuing through Friday evening, April 1.</b> (The station will reopen after the U.S. Secret Service discontinues security efforts late Friday evening.)<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoListParagraph style='text-indent:-.25in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1'><![if !supportLists]><span style='font-family:Symbol'><span style='mso-list:Ignore'>·<span style='font:7.0pt "Times New Roman"'> </span></span></span><![endif]>During this time, Green and Yellow line trains will not stop at Mt Vernon Square station.
