<pre><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial">Hyattsville resident David Driskell, will introduce the movie and join
the discussion following the showing of Rosenwald, a film by Aviva Kempner.
The film is the story of Jewish philanthropist Julius Rosenwald, who partnered with
African-American educator, Booker T. Washington, to build 5400 Southern
schools in African-American communities in the early part of the 20th century.
There were 27 schools in Prince George's County that received funds from the Rosenwald fund.<o:p></o:p></span></pre>
