Starting <a href="x-apple-data-detectors://0" x-apple-data-detectors="true" x-apple-data-detectors-type="calendar-event" x-apple-data-detectors-result="0">this Monday, May 2, 2016</a>, residents are reminded to place their residential yard trimmings at curbside for their weekly collection. This is a change from the current collection day of Wednesday. <br><br>Yard waste include grass clippings, leaves, small branches, brush and Christmas trees. Please note, that residential curbside yard trimmings collection is *no longer *accepted in plastic bags. Residents should place their yard trimmings loose in large, heavy-duty, yard waste paper bags or heavy-duty trash cans with handles and a secure lid. Cans should be clearly labeled *"Yard Waste"* or *"Yard Trim"* to ensure collection. Cardboard boxes are *not* acceptable containers.<br><br>Limbs collected curbside must not exceed four (4) feet in length and three (3) inches in diameter and must be securely tied in bundles. Bundles of limbs and bags of dry grass and leaves must weigh less than 60 pounds.
