The Prince George’s County Office of Emergency Management in collaboration with the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), encourages everyone to take precautionary measures to stay cool. Residents in need of relief from the heat are encouraged to visit one of our designated recreational facility Cooling Centers. These neighborhood facilities have been identified in the North, South and Central parts of the County and are open to all County residents.
