<div dir="ltr">Heather and all interested,<div><br></div><div>The website for the circuit court is back operational and unfortunately Heather your reading is correct. The original ruling by the planning board was affirmed on Friday, which explains why the attorneys working on this case had not yet received notice of the outcome.</div><div><br></div><div>Regarding next steps. The first thing that we need is to review the actual ruling with legal council to determine its legal basis, and from there what are our prospects for a successful appeal. Then the Town Council will need to decide on our next steps. At this point I don't know the exact time line, but expect it will be at least several weeks before any of this becomes clear.</div><div><br></div><div>Best wishes,</div><div><br></div><div>Vern</div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Sun, Jul 17, 2016 at 12:02 PM, Heather Cronk <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:heather.cronk@gmail.com" target="_blank">heather.cronk@gmail.com</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex">If I'm looking at the Circuit Court case files correctly online, it appears that we have lost the appeal in Circuit Court of the County Planning Board's decision about 7-11. And can you give town residents an update on the Town Council's next steps? I don't know how the proposed changes to the County development code will impact this development (I think there will be no impact except to actively allow more development like 7-11), but I would guess that this means that 7-11 will be moving forward swiftly with developing the property...<span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><div><br></div><div>-Heather</div></font></span></div>
