Thank goodness nobody was hurt. However, a family has lost their home and everything in it. As a town, we are so fortunate that so many of our residents have already reached out and expressed a desire to help this family in their time of need. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify'><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify'>The family is currently staying in a hotel in Greenbelt and will be re-located this week to an apartment. They will reside there for the next 8 plus months while their home undergoes major repairs, which their insurance company has already started. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify'><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify'>The Town was able to speak with the family to obtain a few specifics with how the community can assist. They need <u>new or gently used household items</u> as well as clothing. In addition, gift cards (Walmart, Target and Giant) are encouraged as donations.
