<p class="MsoNormal"><b>What to Expect On-Site the Next Two Weeks: </b><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The site and buildings General Contractor, L.F. Jennings, will continue site construction in multiple areas. Washington Gas Light (WGL), Verizon, Comcast, WSSC and Pepco will bring utility services to each new building. New road construction
east of 46th Street to connect to Maryland Avenue at the SE corner of the site is ongoing. The park adjacent to Route 1 (Gateway Park) is substantially complete. The construction of the first section of the 119 townhomes has started with the first townhouse
anticipated to be completed in the spring of next year. Construction of three new commercial buildings (#1, 2 & 4) is well underway. Tenant fitout work in Building #3, for spaces other than Whole Foods Market, is on-going.

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><o:p> </o:p></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>CSX Crossing: </b><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The closure of the former ERCO plant parking lot between the Rivertech Court cul-de-sac and Lafayette Avenue will continue until the new bridge is open – estimated to be in the third quarter of 2017.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The bridge builder, Shirley Contracting, has completed the west abutment foundation piles and the related footings. The abutment walls will be formed and poured in the next 4 weeks. The pile driving operation on the east side of the tracks
has begun. The pile driving will continue for approximately 4 - 6 weeks. The construction will be monitored to assure compliance with County work hours and noise regulations. Work on the piles will take place Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Whole Foods Market: </b><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Tenant fitout work inside Whole Foods Market is ongoing with completion anticipated in the spring.

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Hiker/Biker Trail: </b><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The Hiker/Biker Trail has been deeded to MNCPPC’s Department of Parks and Recreation who will manage and maintain the trail. They expect to open the trail for use by the public once they determine that site conditions are suitably safe
from dangers associated with the immediately adjacent construction activities. <o:p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Work Hours: </b><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Work activity will be taking place Monday – Sunday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. However, work on the State highway (Route 1) will be restricted to 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pile installation work will be Monday – Friday between the
hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. <o:p></o:p></p>
