<p class="MsoNormal">Yes, Honey Bun Cake Factory was the winner of the Economic Development Committee’s Business Competition. It has been almost a year since I followed up with the owner of the company to see where they stood with the lease/build-out etc.
The ‘coming soon’ on the DDC website has been there for a couple of years. They took a long time signing a letter of intent with DDC for a lease but was told at least that was completed. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The business grant program and monies the Town of Riverdale Park used to support local businesses with probably would have come into play, but that enabling legislation that provided for the program was rescinded by the Town Council in
Spring/Summer 2016.<o:p></o:p></p>
