Then they stopped.</div><div> I live on a major street in town with a lot of foot traffic.</div><div>I dont like leaving it in the middle of the sidewalk for people to have to walk around it or step into the street. Recyling sits not even 1 foot from the sidewalk (maybe 1 extra step for Bates)</div><div>I was leaving yesterday and saw the truck coming so I flaggsd them down and both the driver and man on tbe truck started yelling at me.</div><div>They were saying they were there for yard waste. </div><div>i told them they have not picked up for over 2 weeks and this happens all the time.. They went on to say i had to move it over to the sidewalk ...6 inches closer!!!</div><div><br></div><div>They picked it up same spot for over 15 years .Now last several years they dont pick it up and are very rude when I've told them they just have to take one more step!</div><div>I explained again to them I dont like leaving it on the sidewalk.</div><div>They yelled at me for 2 more mins and said another truck was coming around for the recycling. They never picked it up and it is still sitting in front of my house rain soaked because its over flowing.</div><div>Could we as a town please look into other alternatives?</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div id="composer_signature"><div style="font-size:85%;color:#575757" dir="auto">Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S7, an AT&T 4G LTE smartphone</div></div><div><br></div><div style="font-size:100%;color:#000000"><!-- originalMessage --><div>-------- Original message --------</div><div>From: towntalk-request@riverdale-park.org </div><div>Date: 5/17/18 8:00 AM (GMT-05:00) </div><div>To: towntalk@riverdale-park.org </div><div>Subject: TownTalk Digest, Vol 142, Issue 22 </div><div><br></div></div>Send TownTalk mailing list submissions to<br> towntalk@riverdale-park.org<br><br>To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit<br> http://riverdale-park.org/mailman/listinfo/towntalk<br>or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to<br> towntalk-request@riverdale-park.org<br><br>You can reach the person managing the list at<br> towntalk-owner@riverdale-park.org<br><br>When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific<br>than "Re: Contents of TownTalk digest..."<br><br><br>Today's Topics:<br><br> 1. Both<br>will provide context for understanding the way that systemic racism has led<br>to food inequities in Prince George's County and the DMV area. Why do some<br>communities lack access to fresh food while others have four or five<br>groceries stores? What does it mean to live in a food desert or a food<br>swamp? FJC 20743's mission is to bring fresh<br>food into the 20743 zipcode area, and restore ownership of the food systems<br>to marginalized communities. This summer Chloe and the other members are<br>opening the Oakcrest Farmer's Market, and their long-term goals are to<br>create a food co-op in Capital Heights.
